How do I make a reservation?

Please visit our website at https://www.experiencetheset.com and click on “Reserve Now.” On the next page, click “Book Table” and select your date. Three separate time slots will be available each night: 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:00 pm. You can book up to a party of 8 per reservation, but keep in mind that each table accommodates up to 4 guests. If your party is larger than 4 people, we will do our best to seat your party next to each other, but tables cannot be pushed together. If there are not enough available reservation spots for your selected time slot, the system will not process your request.

There is a $15 per person admission fee charged to your credit card at the time of making your reservation.
If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so at least 24 hours before your reservation date and time.


How do I modify or cancel my reservation?

If an email address was correctly entered when making your reservation, a confirmation email would have been sent to you. From that confirmation email, there is a modify button that directs you to the reservation page where you can make changes or cancel the reservation. If an email was not entered or entered incorrectly, you likely did not receive a confirmation email and will not be able to access the reservations page. In this case, please email info@experiencetheset.com to request cancellation.

If you are trying to add additional guests to your reservation, you will need to secure a new reservation with the additional number of guests for the same date and time slot. If the time slot is no longer available, it means, unfortunately, there are no more available spaces.


Is there a time limit?

There is a 100-minute time limit per session. Last call will be announced 20-30 minutes before the end of the session.

Is this a show?

The short answer is NO. Although there is not a show, we do have roaming characters and a strolling magician. We also encourage our guests to explore the manor, enjoy the interactive elements, and take plenty of photos.

That 80’s Bar

That 80’s Bar opens at 8:00 pm. Guests with reservations at The Set are more than welcome to visit That 80’s Bar while they wait for their “We are ready for you” text message from The Set. However, That 80’s Bar does have a separate cover charge. That 80’s Bar features DJ and dancing all evening and live bands between 11:00 pm and 12:00 am. Guests of The Set who pay the cover charge will be given a wristband to enter That 80’s Bar before and after their visit to The Set.

Please be advised that we follow a strict policy of responsible beverage service and ask that all our guests consume alcoholic beverages responsibly. Guests exhibiting signs of over-intoxication may not be permitted entrance to either That 80’s Bar or The Set.


What if I have more than 8 guests in my party?

Each table can accommodate up to 4 guests. We will do our best to seat your larger parties near each other, but tables cannot be moved together.

Where is The Set located?

The Set is located at 10555 Mills Avenue, Montclair, CA 91763, through a secret entrance inside That 80’s Bar. General parking is available across the street in the Pomona Valley Swap Meet parking lot. Upon your approach to That 80’s Bar, you will see a podium for “The Set” towards the left of the building. Please check in at the podium with proper identification. All guests must be over the age of 21.

What is your beverage menu like?

We do not serve food but create a new handcrafted beverage menu every time the concept or theme at The Set changes. We do our best to use ingredients that are in season and related to the current theme.

Our goal is to provide a variety of cocktails on our menu so all our guests can find something to suit their palate. To accomplish this, we make every effort to create two cocktails from each spirit varietal in hopes our guests will find something to their liking. If the specialty cocktails are too complex for our guests, single spirits with mixers can be ordered if the products are in our current seasonal inventory.

In addition to our specialty cocktails, guests can find seasonal beer, wine, and a couple of mocktails. For other non-alcoholic beverages please see a host or bartender.

What is your bag policy?

No oversized bags or backpacks are allowed. All bags are subject to search upon entry. The venue has the right to refuse entry and to restrict any items at any time without prior notice.
